What is the day-to-day life of a Machining and Programming professional at FRICON like?

Challenging. The adrenaline I feel from the problems and challenges I face every day means that I always have an active day.

what is most important for being an excellent professional at FRICON?

Dedication, above all. But also not being afraid to give ideas for improvement and internal development. It's always good when we feel we can do better than what's currently happening and we're listened to and feel we're making a difference.

What is the day-to-day life of a sales assistant at FRICON like?

Every day is different. We don't have a daily pattern or routine.

Some days are busier than others, but we're always "on the front line" as they say!!! 😊

Our day-to-day life is very much centered on direct contact with the client.

In your opinion, what is most important for being an excellent sales assistant at FRICON?

Focus on customer satisfaction.

To have the courage to step out of our comfort zone every day and face our problems and find the best solution to solve them!

How did warehouse management come about in your career?

I had finished a job and was available, so I decided to do a course at ISEG in the area of warehousing and purchasing, and that's how my passion for this area came about. When I finished my degree I decided that I would look for something in this area.

How did FRICON come into your life?

You could hear FRICON at the dinner table, everyone close to me was talking about FRICON, so I already had a very positive idea about our company. And that's what led me to submit my CV here, after completing the warehouse course.

What's your day-to-day life like as an AMP team leader?

It's a challenge! 1st, there must be no shortage of material on the production lines, which are the backbone of the company; 2nd, we have to respond to the after-sales service, directly satisfying our customers; 3rd, we have to ensure that everything is unloaded properly, and that the material is arranged in the correct sectors for distribution on the line.

What are the main challenges in carrying out this role at FRICON?

The organization of the storage of the material, given that they are very large volumes considering the existing space. I often say that every day we "play" Tetris to ensure that all our material is optimally organized.

Certification Engineer

What is the day-to-day life of a FRICON certification engineer like?

We face every day as a challenge, every day we learn something new, new rules and laws, new requirements for our products, we support the technical side by choosing certified components and installing them correctly. We also support the commercial side by certifying our products so that they can sell in all markets. Providing the necessary support during audits by certifying bodies and unblocking increasingly complicated levels, without ever forgetting to train colleagues in standards so that everyone is informed.

What is your day-to-day life like at FRICON and what are your main tasks?

My day starts with checking that the servers and systems are all operational, checking if there are any users/accounts that are having trouble accessing them and then checking the tickets to organize the day's priority tasks.

What do you find most challenging about your position?

Always being up to date with new systems, tools or errors/bugs.
This is what makes every day different and motivating, always looking for solutions.

On the other hand, what task gives you the most satisfaction?

Solving a difficult incident when there's more effort involved, when it's done, I feel satisfied and even more so when the user is happy with the result.
