On September 9, the 4th edition of the National Sea Canoeing Championship was held, organised by Clube Fluvial Vilacondense and the Portuguese Canoeing Federation.
Over 22 kilometres, more than 200 athletes represented by 27 national clubs travelled from Matosinhos to the Vila do Conde Marina, in a race full of incredible atmosphere and lots of emotions.
FRICON’s most recent partnership with Clube Fluvial Vilacondense reflects, above all, the company’s commitment to supporting sport, including important events and institutions in the region.
This championship, held in the city of Vila do Conde, was attended by several of the event’s leaders and sponsors, including the chairman of FRICON’s board of directors, Isabel Azevedo.
We can only praise the importance of events like this, both for the development of sport and for the city itself, and hope that the fifth edition will be as successful as the present one.
