In partnership with Hussmann, FRICON was present at the 38th edition of the Luanda International Fair – FILDA 2023, which took place between 18 and 22 July in the Luanda-Bengo Special Economic Zone (ZEE) in Angola.
THE FILD is one of the largest trade fairs in the country, with the aim of promoting economic and commercial development, attracting foreign investment, facilitating the exchange of information and strengthening partnerships between Angola and other countries in the world. It is also an event that encourages the exhibition of products and services in order to promote new commercial negotiations in various sectors of activity, such as trade, industry and food.
FRICON's expansion into the African market
The most recent edition of FILDA 2023 was organised under the motto ‘Digital economy – the new frontier of the world economy’, with the aim of attracting more than 32,000 visitors. In a total exhibition area of 28,000 square metres, the organisation anticipated the participation of more than 750 companies, equivalent to an expected growth of 16% compared to the same event in 2022.
FRICON’s presence at FILDA 2023 made it possible to reinforce the brand’s expansion into African territory in order to strengthen its presence and reach in this large market, with the development of new business deals and strategic partnerships. It was also possible to present FRICON’s extensive product portfolio to all the attendees, with the following commercial refrigeration equipment aimed at food retail and ice-cream preservation on display:
- A Combi 220 Eco Vertical Display Unit (UPD Eco + SMR SLB);
- Two CLS 210 T horizontal supermarket shelves;
- An HCE 170 FG Horizontal Conservator.
