It was thanks to his strategic vision, entrepreneurial spirit, and courage to make bold decisions that, in 1995, the company took a decisive step towards internationalization. At a time when few Portuguese companies ventured beyond Europe, Mr. Artur identified enormous growth potential in Brazil, specifically in the Northeast region.   <\/p>\n<p>With a keen understanding of the market and a deep conviction in the value of FRICON\u2019s products, the company chose the city of Paulista, in Pernambuco, to begin this chapter. The decision proved to be spot on. Since then, it has become a reference in the production of commercial refrigeration equipment. In line with the UN\u2019s 2030 Agenda, the company has implemented various sustainability initiatives and has been recognized by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change for its active role in protecting the planet. <\/p>\n<p>One of the main achievements was the adoption of natural gas R290, an eco-friendly alternative that does not harm the ozone layer and has a low global warming potential (GWP). FRICON was a pioneer in its use in Brazil, having started this process in 2009.
